productivity experiment

I'm going to try something to boost my productivity by increasing accountability.

At the beginning of every week and every weekend, I'll make a todo list of all of my major milestones to get done by the end of the week/weekend.

Then, at the end of the week/weekend, I'll tweet/post here/something 2 scores: one for what percentage of my todo list I finished, and one for what percentage of the lack of productivity (assuming I don't finish everything) is my fault.

Factors that would make it less my fault include unexpected time sinks (more homework than normal, etc) and a todo list that, in hindsight, was way too ambitious.

BUT I need your help. The point of this is to make me accountable to my friends, acquaintances, and family. So it won't work if some of you don't tell me I suck when I say I got nothing done. Or at least think less of me.

I have no idea how well this will work, but it's worth a try.

I consider dropping out of school every time I go to Econ.

My econ class is everything that is wrong with school. Boring lecture on things I already understand, then stupid worksheets where I spend the majority of my time adding, dividing, and graphing. The part of the worksheets that isn’t 5th grade math is asking the same question 3 times. It’s an AP class, but it makes me feel like I’m 10.

Now 85% shark-proof!
